Carroll Unlikely To Leave Liverpool

Andy Carroll looks very unlikely to leave Liverpool this summer despite not being in manager Brendan Rodgers first team plans.

Carroll has turned down the chance to go out on loan to West Ham after both clubs had agreed a deal and with Newcastle looking at other striking options, it looks as though Carroll will be sitting on the bench for the majority of the season.

West Ham had agreed a deal for Carroll which included a £2 million loan fee with Carroll’s wages paid in full and £17 million to make the move permanent with a wage rise to £100,000 per-week, making the striker the highest paid player at the club.
